Vegan chocolate biscuits that taste delicious? And aren't dry as dust? Yes, you can!

I love the American cookie style and these biscuits come very close to it. And they are really easy to make. I am therefore delighted to share this recipe with you today and look forward to your feedback.

Preparation time: approx. 20 min

Baking time: approx. 10-12 min

Ingredients for approx. 15 cookies

  • 330g rolled oats
  • 120g spelt flour
  • 60g icing sugar
  • 110g cane sugar
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 115ml coconut oil
  • 2 tsp bourbon vanilla
  • 200g dark chocolate drops
  • 1 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp water

Preparation 

Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan oven.

Place all the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large bowl and knead well. Then add the chocolate chips and knead in.

Now shape the cookies with your hands. Take approx. 1 tbsp of dough at a time and press firmly into a flat ball.

Line a baking tray with baking foil and arrange the biscuits on it.

Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.

Don't be surprised - the biscuits will still be relatively soft, but will become firmer as they cool.

The biscuits can be stored in a tin for approx. 1 week (as long as there are enough 😉 )

Eat it straight away!
